Nelson McIlveen
Nelson McIlveen is the CEO of Sentry H2O, a family-owned small business that combines the best German water technology with innovative American engineering to proudly provide families and businesses across America with one-of-a-kind water treatment systems that both remove harmful toxins and enrich water with essential nutrients.
Before devoting his work full-time to Sentry H2O, Nelson mastered his craft as an engineer and tool-maker, managing the manufacturing divisions of Fortune 500 companies in the United States, Asia, and Mexico. In 2006, he used his engineering and manufacturing expertise to start his first small business, Celtic Plastics, LLC, an injection molding company that engineers parts for the aerospace, military, and water filtration industries.
As Nelson learned more about the water filtration industry, he became increasingly concerned about the quality of his family’s drinking water. When his family moved to Arizona, there were two main options for getting clean water: bottled (which is expensive and wasteful) or Reverse Osmosis (which is bulky and strips water of essential nutrients). He quickly realized that to get affordable, toxin-free, mineral- enriched water for his family, he was going to have to design a water treatment system himself—so he did.
Sentry H2O launched in 2023 with their under-sink Sentry Wellness System and are soon expanding their product line to include specialty water treatment systems for refrigerators, evaporative coolers, misting systems, homes, and commercial applications.
