Tom was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His journey into the world of bartending started at nineteen. In 2001 he moved to Las Vegas to open Kahunavill Bar and Restaurant Inside of Treasure Island. Shortly after getting to Vegas he returned back to Michigan in order to run the Kahunaville Bar.

However, Las Vegas kept calling and in 2003 moved back to Vegas to be part of the first wave of “flair” bartenders at the Rio Hotel and Casino. He spent ten years there perfecting his skills and during that time racked up some impressive bullet points for his resume.

•Over 40 competition finals appearances

He has had a number of featured media appearances from Three Sheets (Las Vegas Episode), the Food Network, Travel Channel, A&E, Destination America, ABC, Review Journal and the Las Vegas Magazine to just name a few.

Currently he is the Head Bartender/Mixologist at the Catalyst Bar inside the Linq Hotel and Casino and has been since 2013.
